OnSolar has a physical presence in Cambridge MA, and Jacksonville, FL, and operates throughout the eastern U.S. Our primary purpose is helping forward-thinking businesses economically achieve energy security by using simple solar power. By focusing on commercial installations, we are able to use our understanding of how solar power can benefit our customers’ financial situation, environmental impact, independence and brand image to achieve optimum results.

Founders
Ed Clarke, Co-Founder & President
Prior to co-founding OnSolar, Ed has led US Air Force combat missions, directed the Florida Air National Guard’s long-range strategy development and worked for a major US airline. He has an MBA from Babson College with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and M&A, and a BS Engineering from University of Florida.

Marc Hofner, Co-founder & Vice-President
Marc has worked for the past eight years as a software engineer, team lead, and project manager in companies ranging from five person startups to multinational industry leaders. Over that time, Marc has ensured that his efforts consistently led to increased value for the customer and company. Marc has an MBA from Babson College with a focus on entrepreneurship, and a BS Computer Science from Syracuse University.
